Welcome to Green Belt Glass
Welcome to Greenbelt Glass. If you’re here, you’re probably into clean design, solid function, and pieces that feel personal, not mass-produced.
Greenbelt Glass is a functional glass art studio rooted in the Niagara peninsula of Ontario, Canada. Our name comes in part from Ontario’s Greenbelt, a two million acre protected area of farmland, forests, and wetlands surrounding the Greater Golden Horseshoe. It's where we call home. The forests, wetlands, and farmland of the Greenbelt are home to a variety of wildlife; deer moving at dusk, hawks overhead, foxes cutting through tree lines, turtles swimming in the water, and more birds than you can count. Somewhere in the middle of it all are raccoons; resourceful, persistent and a little mischievous. These characteristics mirror what’s needed to dive deep into the rabbit holes of the glass world and perfectly represent our company’s ingenuity.
This space is where we’ll share new pieces, upcoming drops, discuss materials and what’s happening in the studio. You’ll see how colour, form, function and other traditional glassblowing elements come together, how each piece is meant to be used, not just displayed. Everything we make is built with pride, made to feel right in hand, and earn its place in your daily rotation.
Take a look around, and check back often. There’s always something taking shape.
